This oven is amazing. I made "White" chili in it this weekend, set the burner at high at first had to turn it down, as this pot really heats up fast. Cooked this chili basically on low/med heat. The recipe called to use a 5 quart, but I used the 2 quart with room to spare. Look forward to more use in the future.

"Serving pot" is not really a good name for this piece. I use this "mini" Dutch oven, (bean pot), for baking Artisan style no knead breads. Diameter and depth makes it the perfect size for 3 to 4 cup dough loaves. (Google "No knead Artisan breads") I wish I could post a photo of a loaf. You already know that Lodge is the best cast iron cookware you can buy, (I don't count that fancy enameled French stuff), I'm ordering a second one since it costs the same to bake two loaves as it does one.
